Session typically lasts 60 minutes.
Session can be outdoors, in home studio or mix of both, 2 outfit changes and even family/sibling photos!
Celebrating milestones is one of the most exciting parts of being a parent. While many parents feel pressured to schedule baby portraits on a time schedule (ie- 3,6, or 9 months), I suggest scheduling them according to milestones. Did your baby just start smiling? Can he or she sit up on their own!? Did your baby discover how to clap or wave! Is your baby starting to walk or standing up holding onto things? Savor the moments when they achieve something new and are really excited about it!
Little ones tend to be happier after a good rest. I typically suggest scheduling for morning or after nap sessions, consider your little one's nap time and happy times when selecting the best time for your session.
I suggest IN HOME for Milestone Sessions. Babies are typically most comfortable at home and less distracted. I bring the photo studio to you! I am a big believer in keeping the focus on what matters: your baby. Most photos are taken on a back drop but we can also take pictures off the backdrop and outside. If you have any special items that mean something to you, e.g. an old wood rocking chair, a stuffed toy, favorite books, a special blanket they make great props for Milestone Sessions!
Toddlers Sessions- Toddlers photograph best outside! They love to play games and explore, it is most important to have a well rested toddler. If possible invite an extra pair of hands to join in the photo shoot.
These sessions typically last anywhere from 45-90 minutes. Please have 2-3 outfits ready, for ages 1 and under we will also take pictures in diapers, so diaper covers and tutus are great!
